Swag! Welcome back.

ZL1 Nice to see you over here. Still got that 8600?

MARCI and Masaka, welcome to you as well! Thx for coming by to help out! Much appreciated.

For those who were not there a few weeks ago when we were rampaging along at 80K, I will re-itterate my lesson from the other day.

This is us:

I haven't crunched Rosetta in a long time, but I've switched teams to here. I'll set it up on my personal rigs as soon as I get home from work today.

By the way, where do you guys go for Rosetta stats?

Welcome to the team and Bat Outta Hell Week, tgxiii!

Thanks for the welcome, Adak. And thanks for the stats, benbaked.

I'm not too familiar with the way stats are in Rosetta... when I switched teams, did all my previous points carry over as well?

If you switched from another Rosetta Team, all of your points should come with you as far as I know.

Our team RAC has risen to 35k, (up 4k), and we are now just 15k away from the AMD Users team. Their RAC has risen by just 2k.

<< Go! Go! Go! >>

Meet tgxiii - our new #4 man on the team, with 1.49 Million points (credits). Very nice!

Whether we can pass this surging team, with our rally, remains to be seen. Note that the AMD Users team has 481 members, and that number has increased in the last 48 hours.
481 to our 60 active??... They better get more people;)

Another E6600 added

I'll do an update later this evening, but yeah - we have brought more folders!
In the new star trek ...Right before Kirk gets thrashed by the 4 guys in the Bar. he says "4 of you?? You better get some more guys" lol

I hope that doesn't mean we get thrashed. lol

Bat Outta Hell Week - End of Day 2:

At 10 p.m.: (All times PDT)

Here's where we stand now:
Code:

37 AMD Users 484 32,837 19,794,999
[/color][/size]

Team Starfire: was @ 20,228k, increased by 44,000 today
Overclockers : was @ 19,730k, increased by 66,000 today

We were running roughly 12 hours behind the AMD Users team, and have moved up and passed them, by the smallest of margins.

We may be passed again, but we will re-pass, as often as it takes!

VTC moved up 9k today, and after passing Team Starfire, they're our next victim!

Our team RAC was 27k, and now it's 38k - in just two days!
Hoow!, Hoow!, Hoow!

As expected, AMD Users has leapfrogged back ahead of us, by 2,000 points.

They are on a rally, with two members "Vaughan" and "Mitchell" each contributing 16.5k, yesterday!

The rest of their team is indeed dozing off, as Baditude depicted in his funny cartoon.

We will be passing them for good, only after we've had a chance for our new and returning members to ramp up their production.

<< The Bat Outta Hell Rally is ON >>

Our team RAC was 27k, and now it's 40k - in just three days!

Any way to do GPU contribution for Rosie?

Not at this current time. However, BOINC plays well with the FAH GPU client, causing only a slight drop in R@H production when the two are running together (the GPU client takes up to a 10% hit to the RAC on my quad).

Well, I'm running f@H gpu, but stanford seems to be having server issues, so I was going to throw it into the race over here. my c2d put out around 1500 points of credit on rosie yesterday.. after one day got me up to approx 150rac after the one day.

Hi teamates,

When shutting down do you need to pause the work before closing Boinc?
and
How often do they update the stats for Rosetta,is it hourly, or constantly?

Hopefully in a few days I will not contantly be looking at my stats for my meager update...:screwy:

First timer anxiety!

My impression is the database is updated about every 2 hours, except on days when the database is down for maintenance - like today.

Today, the team ranking page at Rosetta still is visible, but the data hasn't changed since about 10:00 am. The member rankings are not visible at all, until the database gets back up.

Every member and team will get a "catch up" update, when the system comes back on-line.

Dam,,,, First was the Stanford Servers DOWN,,, Now the Rosetta Servers are Down For Maintenance,, got over a Dozen WU's backed up waiting to GO to Servers,,
