Hold on, upon closer examination, I made an error reporting my SuperPi 32M score, upon further review, my time appears to be is 5m 6.820s, which is one minute faster than what I first reported. Well, son of a gun, I did beat Johan after all. ;)

The 7900x with the ASUS IPEX board 5.4GHZ with LN2, but to go any faster will have to de-lid getting hot cores.

Nice keep it going. Drop down to a couple core lose the SMT and crank it up.

Been working on the memory on my bench with Win7 knocked the time down muchly. Broke 9 minutes and still at 4.0

A bit more tweaking.
First run dropped ~ 6 seconds then next run 4 more same settings just some tweaks.

That's the ticket. Just be careful with a 24/7 OS

Let's get a result in for now... tinkering with ram settings is making no sense. I suspect the bios might be altering secondary/tertiary timings behind my back when I mess around with speed and primary timings.

It takes a lot of patience and maybe and OS or two to really tweak the ram Mack. Don't be afraid of voltage those sticks are fine up to 1.6V+ I even run close to 2V on my samsungs from time t time. That's likely going to be another hold up for you looks like you have Hynix there by the timings

It's Corsair ram so probably. XMP at 3000 is 16-18-18...

Edit: Thaiphoon burner confirms it is Hynix.

For benching Samsung DDR4 is where it's at Mack this is probably as far as I'm going to take the Ryzen, RAM was at 1.65V which is still mild.

Might have to see what sticks I can shuffle around. Just looked and the ones in my main system (Ripjaws V) are apparently Samsung D-die. I have Ripjaws 4 in my Skylake-X system I'll have to look at after fooding. Those are the only two higher speed kits I have (>-3200). My 3000 kits are all Corsair, and below that I have Kingston and Crucial 2666.

Samsung "B" is what you want anything over 3600 or 3200 CL14 most others will be something else

That's up to you Mack, Samsung is premium over most ram an extra $50 plus most cases. I have 3 sets of the stuff but that's me.
