First test drive on this CPU and I was happy it booted let alone ran some heavy benchmarks at this speed.

So the next stage of my training starts With just a quick and safe OC to see where I'm starting from, 7800X at 4.8 GHz got me 6m56s. Given it is single thread it will be interesting to see how OC handles in that case, and I haven't even thought about looking at ram tuning yet...

Then it would kick some serious benchmarks it would. Look at that 7740K above 5.36 with 1.3V that's the speed Ryzen needs and not on LN2

I saw this post and decided to run a quick baseline without any special optimization, just using my normal 24/7 OC, with all the case panels on and the fans set to quiet mode. The result was a little better than I expected. I'm pleasantly surprised. Yippee!
