Is anyone here into 3D printing? I somehow feel like the two hobbies would go hand in hand... you can 3d print custom drive mounts/caddies, fan ducts, etc.

Hi Maviryk,
My attempt at 3d printing has been interesting.
As stated a 3d printer has appeal to go with modding and pc enthusiam.
Learning 3d printer from DIY perspective has been very challenging.
RepRap microcontroller and Afinibot A3, A8 design has entry level price point.
Initial prints are not easy to come by.
Firmware configuration from generic RepRap template also can be time consuming.
The web has alot of information available on 3d printers and the products seem to be evolving.
A fully working user friendly printer definetely could be a smart decision to get some experience.
