Ryzen 7 3700 with rx 5500xt

I’m looking at upgrading my cpu from a ryzen 3 2200g. My graphics card is a Radeon rx 5500xt I’m just wondering if a ryzen 7 3700x would be too much for the 5500xt and cause too much bottlenecking issues.

There is not such thing as 'too much' CPU, really. That combination is fine.

Awesome! I know the bottleneck calculators are not really reliable but I was just trying to get an idea and it said it was 12% bottlenecked. Thanks for the reply!
