Hi guys,

So I bought the GTX 1080 msi Sea Hawk X and a Corsair Rm750x power supply.
I'm going to custom sleeve everything but the psu cables are kinda tricky to sleeve.

Now for my question, I have a 8 pin pci-e on the psu and a 6+2 and 6pin on the GTX, now I was wondering if I could use 2 single connectors, so 8pin to 6+2 and 8 pin to 6, to replace the8 pin to dual 6+2 and 6+2?

So from this

My guts say 'no problem', but I need to be sure before I blow my new gtx xD

Or do I need to change the cable layout for the second connector?

Thanks allot guys!

I currently have the Corsair AX650i as my PSU. I meant that since the GPU requires both a 6 pin and an 8 pin connector, would it be better to use just a single cable with two 6+2 pin connectors or 2 cables with one 8 pin and one 6 pin?

Either will work just fine just plug it in and forget about it.
