Ok, here are my power related questions.

1) My 5V line sits at around 4.87V does not change voltages. The odd time I see it at 4.88 or 4.89 Is this actually all that bad.

2) As I add fans etc.. to my case will this drop off even more even if I run them off the 12V lines?

3) My VCore Voltages shown through CPUCool tends to fluctuate between 1.79 and 1.81 Volts. Now my bios is set to 1.75V Could this be a problem with my power supply?

I was originally told it was my mobo that was pushing the VCore Voltages higher.

4) Is the above Vcore fluctuation bad for my system?

I have a 300W Antec PSU not to sure what model. And I'm running a 1.4 on an A7A266 Mobo.

Any Replies are very welcome as, I want to replace this PSU ASAP if it's actually to blame. If it's bad I got a funny idea about what killed my last mobo and CPU!

Thanks fella's.

PS: Would the increased voltages also be part of the temp issued I'm having?? I have a Volcano6CU+ and even at default 1.4 my CPU temps under load never go below 49oC and that's with ambient temps of no higher then 24oC in my house generally cooler right now!

This voltage thing you are getting is POOR PSU
regulation!!!
I see this alot with antec & entermax PSUs.
If you want acurate regulation get a turbo - cool by PC
POWER & COOLING, you can also connect your antec to
it, run them together and the Turbo - Cool will still keep the
volts online!

It is not generally good to have voltage changes during
operation in your computer, but there is not much you can do
about that.

The mobo could have inacurate regulators causing the volts to
go higher. (A common thing) Or it could be the 5v line going
wack, the CPU runs of the 5v line.

By adding fans on some supplies will cause the volts to go
down more. The only power supply I have seen that is capable
of keeping all the lines EXACTLY on target no-matter what
the load is a PC POWER & COOLING - Turbo-Cool PSU.
You can get one of these and connect your other PSU
witch will allow more watts of output while still keeping the
costs down and superior regulation!
