Acer Makes Graphics Cards Now. And It's Weird...

You missed all other models in the last two years ;) ... but I see that all their cards have a similar general design (I mean these two fans).
I'm not sure who is manufacturing them, but most other Predator series products have other OEMs.

Definitely, I knew Dell made a few OEM (?) for the 4*** gen (no idea about older gen or AMD), and they are actually fairly decent from reviews, but Acer is completely new to me as well...

I want to say I saw a few Dell branded low end 7xx cards, like the GT 710 and 730, but they could have very well been just cards that were pulled from their towers.

Not so long time ago, ASRock started releasing graphics cards and it was a big surprise. They started with the whole line of RX6000, or maybe something before that, but for Asian market only.
Most AMD or Nvidia partners start with reference or nearly reference designs but often use different coolers. Many quite new brands from China/Taiwan are available only in their local market. From time to time, we see them on news websites, but they're almost impossible to buy. The best bet for weird series is Aliexpress or Amazon, as some brands from Asia start there before they find any distributor in the EU/NA. Some brands, even though popular for longer, are not selling anything in the EU/NA. Look at Colorful, which has been on the market for many years.

I would not buy a dam thing from Aliexpress.(n):poop:

Speaking of AliExpress...

"Linus, Alex, Jake, Tanner, and Plouffe all compete for a big prize, by seeing who can find the weirdest PC component or peripheral on AliExpress."

Some brands are available almost only on Aliexpress. Some are starting to appear on local markets just now. Brands like Bykski had no other stores for years. Now they have their online store in the US, but if you want any of their unique products then there is only Aliexpress. Think it's one of the only brands that does pretty good quality full cover blocks for very rare graphics cards. All others do that only for 3-4 top-selling models. There are more brands with various electronics that you find only on Aliexpress.

There are also many less popular products that you see on Amazon, Newegg, or other stores. The point is that most of those products are being sold by the same stores that sell on Aliexpress, but on Aliexpress it's much cheaper. They also improved everything in the last few years. I mean shipping, insurance, return policy, and some more.

There are things I wouldn't buy there, but with some, there is no other choice.

It's like Amazon. It depends on the seller and what you actually buy. Many people buy weird stuff and later are surprised it doesn't work well. There are a lot of bad comments on Amazon too, but it doesn't mean that people won't buy there anymore.
I'm not going to convince you. I'm just saying it's not pure evil.
