Sure it would be an alright desktop replacment, but other than that its going to be less than usefull. The CPUs are power hungry, and batter life is medicore at best. If you actually look at the pentium m benchmarks, it holds it own. Beating out an FX-53 in some cases. It all comes down to what you want to do, but if battery life portability are on the top of your list, stay far away from an a64.
Arkaine23 said:It's my understanding there is software to adjust the vcore and even FSB on a lot of A64 lappies. They generally don't need as much voltage as they're getting and you can get a small boost to battery life by dropping the vcore a notch or two.
